At Babylon CrossFit, we believe in pushing ourselves not only for personal growth but for a purpose greater than ourselves. On November 8th, we’re joining gyms across the country in taking on the CHAD 1000X challenge—and we want you to be part of it.
CHAD 1000X is a hero workout created in honor of Navy SEAL Chad Wilkinson, who tragically lost his life to suicide in 2018 after battling the effects of numerous deployments and traumatic brain injury (TBI). The workout is simple but brutally effective:
1,000 box step-ups (20") with a weighted pack (35/45 lbs)
It represents not just physical endurance, but the mental fortitude and resilience our military members embody every day.
CHAD 1000X supports military suicide prevention through partnerships with organizations like The Step Up Foundation, The Navy SEAL Foundation, and other mental health resources for veterans. Every rep and every drop of sweat is a reminder that 22 veterans a day are lost to suicide—a number that we refuse to accept.
This event is more than a workout. It’s a chance to:
Whether you go solo, in pairs, or scale as needed—this is about showing up. For our veterans, for each other, and for a cause that truly matters.
Join us at Babylon CrossFit on Saturday, November 8th for CHAD 1000X. Let’s step up—together.
