Use your HSA/FSA for Babylon CrossFit!

Hi members! Exciting news - we've partnered with Truemed to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) on our site!

This means that if qualified, you can pay for your membership with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30% on average.

Open enrollment is around the corner—the time of year when you get to make smart moves for your health and your wallet.

This is your window to review your coverage, adjust your plan, and open up tax-advantaged accounts like a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for 2026.

Key Dates to Keep in Mind:

November + December 2025:

Open enrollment typically runs from the beginning of November through mid-December (check with your employer for exact dates).

January 1, 2026:

Coverage starts at the beginning of the year.

All of 2026:

After the window closes, changes are generally only allowed if you have a qualifying life event.

Benefits of a High Deductible Health Plan

If you’re looking to lower your monthly premiums and save more for the future, pairing a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA) could be a strong choice.

With an HSA, you can contribute pretax income—money that isn’t reduced by income taxes—and use those funds later for qualified medical expenses like prescriptions, doctor's visits, and in some cases a gym membership when used to treat a specific medical condition and supported by a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from a licensed practitioner.

A HDHP is one of the most effective ways to save for both everyday health costs and long-term care needs.

How You Save with HSA/FSA Dollars

When you spend from an HSA or FSA, you’re using pretax dollars instead of money that’s already been taxed.

That means the average HSA/FSA account holder saves ~30%* on eligible purchases, depending on individual tax rate.

Here's what that looks like:

If you earn $100, you’d typically lose about $30 to taxes before spending the remaining $70.

With HSA or FSA funds, you can spend the full $100—if you qualify—on eligible health products and services, stretching your budget significantly further.

Take these 3 simple steps to get going:

  • Take a 2 minute evaluation survey from Truemed that will be reviewed by a licensed practitioner for $30.
  • If eligible, Truemed's licensed practitioners will issue you a Letter of Medical Necessity (similar to a doctor writing a prescription). The letter can cover 12 months of reimbursements!
  • Truemed will send you instructions to obtain reimbursement from your HSA/FSA administrators.

Note from Truemed: If a customer has difficulty submitting a claim for reimbursement, please have them reach out to support@truemed.com and our team will be ready to provide the information that their HSA/FSA administrator is requesting. In the event that Truemed is unable to assist in overturning a claim, the Truemed fee will be refunded.
