Rowing Seminar

Rowing is one of those things in CrossFit that everyone pretends they’re fine with… until it shows up on the board. You sit down, strap in, and it’s either:

• Chaos from the first pull

• You spend the whole time thinking “I’m doing this wrong,”

• You just try to survive it and get off as fast as possible.

Here’s the truth: rowing gets way more fun when you understand it.

Not “fun” like a beach day. Fun like… you feel locked in. You’re moving smoothly. You’re in control. You can actually push without falling apart. And when the workout calls for rowing, you don’t groan, you know you can do damage.

That’s why we’re running this seminar.

Rowing has been part of my life for a long time. It’s where I met my wife, and it’s one of those skills I’ll always have respect for because it’s simple… and brutally honest. When it’s right, you feel it immediately. When it’s off, you feel that too.

This is a 90-minute session built to help you stop guessing and start rowing with purpose.

What You’ll Get Out of It

You’re not coming to memorize a bunch of random cues. You’re coming to leave with a few “ohhh… THAT’S why” moments that instantly make rowing feel better:

• why certain setups feel awful

• why you gas out early

• why your back gets lit up

• why your pace jumps all over the place

• why some people look calm while you feel like you’re fighting the machine

We’ll take what you learn and apply it directly to a benchmark rowing piece, so you can see how better movement and better decisions show up when it counts.

Who It’s For

If you’re new and want the basics done right, perfect. If you’ve been here a while and rowing still feels annoying, even better. If you want to feel more confident in workouts and benchmarks, this is the move.

Open to all levels. Members are welcome, and you’re welcome to bring a friend who wants to learn too. See you there.
