Support a Babylon CrossFit Member

Last Years Interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RnH0ed9Zms

At Babylon CrossFit, we're proud to be more than a gym we're a community that supports one another both inside and outside the walls of the box.

Today, we're excited to spotlight one of our incredible members, Keely Harris, who is inviting our community to participate in the 2nd Annual G6PD Health Co-Ed Golf Tournament on Monday, August 31, 2026.

A Personal Mission That Can Save Lives

Keely's passion for raising awareness about G6PD Deficiency comes from a deeply personal experience.

When her grandson was born, he developed jaundice and was treated for what was believed to be routine newborn jaundice. Unfortunately, he was never tested for G6PD Deficiency—a hereditary enzyme deficiency that can significantly increase the risk of severe complications in newborns. As a result, he suffered irreversible brain damage that dramatically affected his motor skills.

Today, Keely has dedicated herself to ensuring other families never have to experience the same heartbreak. Through the G6PD Deficiency Foundation, she works to educate parents, healthcare professionals, and communities about this condition and the importance of early testing and awareness.
